Zeal + Leap = Passion!
At Zealeap (it’s pronounced “zee-leap”) we believe that people want to LOVE coming to work.
We’ve seen the power of passionate cultures – they energize people and they do amazing things for business success.
For us – it’s personal. It’s our mission, our cause. And we want everyone to “get some of that!”
Meet our team…
Tim Porthouse: Chief Zeal Officer
As Chief Zeal Officer Tim is responsible for client engagements as well as directing the success of Zealeap. You can usually find him out at client sites on consulting engagements or coaching “C-Level” executives.
Tim has learned from a lifetime of leadership roles. Starting in England in the mid-eighties, Tim traveled around the world to consult with clients of Accenture.
In 1993 Tim co-founded Calence a highly successful IT services company that grew to over 600 people throughout the US and made Inc Magazine’s list of the 500 Fastest Growing Companies three years in a row. Insight Enterprises purchased Calence in 2008.
As President and COO of Calence, Tim was responsible for building a unique culture that inspired hundreds of talented, creative people to delight their clients and to be part of building something big.
Over the years Tim learned from his many mentors and grew from his leadership mistakes. He led by example at Calence, and created an open connected culture based on trust. Tim’s passion for leadership inspired him to create ground-breaking leadership training programs and to mentor many of Calence’s leaders.
Tim left Calence in 2009 to become Co-Founder of Zealeap.

Michelle Reaux: Chief Culture Officer
As Chief Culture Officer, Michelle is responsible for strategic plans-of-attack on client engagements, coaching leadership to focus on what really drives business results – their people, and training teams at all levels of the organization.
Michelle has a Master’s Degree in Counseling & Educational Psychology from New Mexico State University and spent four years specializing in family, child, and adolescent counseling.
During this time, she also entered into the Organization Development world and found her true passion in helping management truly LEAD and create work environments that people wanted to be a part of.
After deciding to move back to Arizona to be closer to her family, Michelle was a Training Manager at Avnet and she also had a very successful two-year stint as a Business Development Manager responsible for recruiting new Value Added Resellers.
In 2006, she joined Tim Porthouse and the Calence team to create and lead their training department. It was at Calence where Michelle saw the true power that an amazing culture can have. From retention, to business results, to truly happy people – it’s astonishing what “wanting to come to work” can do!
In 2010, Michelle left Calence/Insight to become Co-Founder of Zealeap.
Michelle is married to Adrian and they have a beautiful daughter, Lily June. She is extremely thankful for her amazing family and friends and their unwavering support and love throughout this journey. Michelle lives in Phoenix, AZ.
